RPDCarte

  • A GoogleMyMaps map that functions like a rudimentary google streetview, permitting you to explore the country. Was made by geolocating hundreds of videos, also includes photos (but the photos are much less complete). If you have a video that is missing and you want it added, you may request in the google form linked in the map. If the subject matter is interesting we can probably find the location, or else if it can't be found it won't be added, so it is nice to add coordinates. Most were taken by tourists. I do not host the files so they may be renamed or dissapear. If you don't want your work linked I can also remove it, request in the google form.
  • As name suggests. A photo with a headsign or bus stop with the correct information is enough to prove a route. It is much more difficult and futile to map the bus routes, so they aren't done systematically. Also has tramways, métro, and long distance buses, but not railways.
In addition, there are several kmz maps visible on Google Earth:
  • Map of fixed guideway transport worldwide (WIP)
  • Map of railway lines on the Korean Peninsula. List of train numbers here
  • Map of electric service in San José in the 1930s (WIP)
  • Map of roads, waterways, and buses in North Korea (WIP)
  • There are many other maps in the folder, which will be updated as time goes on. Most of it functions as an archive, feel free to explore (here are listed the main efforts)

Francisation de la langue coréenne en utilisant des cartes postale historique de la RPDC

En ligne il y a un manque de documents historique entre les années 1945 et la chute de l'union soviétique, mais il existe un site web qui a été créé exprès pour sauvegarder l'histoire de la République Démocratique Démocratique de Corée (on la connait souvent appelée Corée du Nord) pendant cette époque. La ressource dont je parle est Retro DPRK . Il semble être géré par un ancien employé de KoryoTours canadien. A la base c'est des collections de cartes postales, qui semblent être le moyen plus répandu d'obtenir des souvenirs pendant l'époque qui nous intéressent. Cependant j'ai remarqué quelque chose intéressant, j'essayerai de mon mieux de le garder et d'expliquer. Il y a une grande partie des cartes postales qui sont écrit en français, mais la chose unique c'est que ça n'utilise pas le système "officiel"  (système McCune–Reischauer modifié)   de romanisation de la langue coréenne en Corée du Nord pendant cette période. Air Koryo Schedules

Only original sources are physical schedules and the Air Koryo website (wayback machine for old airline website domain ). Wikipedia has a decent list  of destinations. Fleet ? And history on YP tours , this is also visible on wikipedia. Official history , most flights cancelled due to later sanctions. International routes only: Archive  1988- 2016 Uri tours listing KTG listing Routes Online ^ based on the  same website  there is also   service to Macao that operated in 2019 , and  extra   flights  added later that year. Current  Domestic routes: Orang/Chongjin to Pyongyang schedule  in Routes Online, corroborated by the Air Koryo page from the same time . 1 hour each way.
